Jamie King
Financial Advisor and Firm Owner
I am very proud to provide my hometown with the insight I’ve gained over almost 20 years of financial planning experience. When I work with clients, I have a “listen first” approach. Building relationships is key to creating plans and portfolios that fit my clients’ needs. Everyone’s needs are unique—some people need help building their assets for college savings or retirement, some need help with using those assets wisely in retirement, and some need help in planning for wealth transfer. I pay special attention to my clients’ comfort with risk.
I am a graduate of Macon High School and the University of Missouri College of Business. I’ve always been a Tiger! In my spare time, I enjoy golf, tennis, and anything I can do near or in the water. When I’m not outside, I like cheering for my favorite teams—the Mizzou Tigers, the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, and the St. Louis Cardinals. I also like to listen to music designed to chill when I’m relaxing with my family. I’ve been married to Julie for 29 years, and we have two adult children.
McKinzie Stoddard

I crossed paths with Jamie when I opened my first account with him right out of college. After hiring Jamie as my financial advisor, I was thrilled when I had the chance to work with him! I am excited to be a part of King Investment Strategies and to make a positive impact on our clients' lives. I received my bachelor’s degree from the College of Business at Missouri State University in Springfield. I work hard to provide personalized service for our clients, and I am usually the first voice you hear when you call King Investment Strategies! I grew up just a few miles from Macon, in Moberly. I enjoy spending time with my family and my fur babies: Teddy, my puppy, and Tootsie, my cat. When I am not enjoying my time outside, I am cooking and eating good food.
Julie King
Office Assistant
I am excited to work with Jamie and McKinzie to serve our clients well at King Investment Strategies. While my first calling is ministry (I’m a Presbyterian pastor), my work here allows me to use my business background (I’m a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Business, and I have a master’s degree in merchandising). Even better, I get to meet lots of really great people!
When I’m not in the office or at my churches, I enjoy cooking, reading, and traveling to new places. I’ve been married to Jamie since 1992, and our two kids are now the next generation of MU Tigers!
Julie Rudkin
Administrative Assistant
I am so happy to be working here at King Investment Strategies. Jamie, Julie, and McKinzie have all warmly welcomed me as part of their crew. I am honored to be a part of this growing investment business, where my mission is to make our clients investment experience as efficient, caring, and comfortable as possible.
I have lived and worked in the Macon community my entire life. My husband originated in the Moberly area and later attended Macon R-1 School; he now owns Rudkin Motors. Our daughters are also working and raising their families in Macon and our son is currently a senior at Missouri S & T in Rolla. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, listening to music, and traveling.
I have been fortunate to have met so many wonderful people in this community and the surrounding communities over the years, and now I am very excited to assist them at King Investment Strategies.
